At the Bulgarian Annual Web Site Awards (http://www.bgsite.org/index.php?page=win_06), which were announced in Friday (17 November 2006), three web sites build with Joomla! won the awards of the public.
The awards are really special, as such are not often granted to CMS based web sites.
The awards were in the categories: Community, Society, Personal Web Site.
Totally 5 web sites build on Joomla! were nominated and three of them won:
Animals without home for Best Personal Web Site (http://www.bezdom.info/)
Pravoslavie.bg (Bulgarian Christian Ortodox Church) for Best Community Web Site (http://www.pravoslavie.bg/)
Tundja Municipality Official Web Site for Best Society Web Site (http://www.tundja.net/)
TeenTopic (http://www.teentopic.net/)
Uroci.net (http://www.uroci.net/)
